| Garden District Walking Tour |

No trip to New Orleans is complete without a tour of the elegant and historic Garden District. This tour includes the Irish Channel and the famous Layfayette Cemetery with above ground tombs, right across the street from Commanders Palace.See the former home of author Anne Rice ( the setting for her book "The Witching Hour" ),a note, for Ann Rice fans, Layfayette is the place she and her sisters played and terrified each other as children. Also the homes of musician Trent Reznor and Archie Manning, the home where Confederate President Jefferson Davis died, and much more. The Garden District has the largest number of antebellum (pre Civil War) homes in one place in the country.
Lafayette Cemetery is closed from Saturday at noon and all day Sunday, you will still be able to see it just fine through the large gates, but if you want to walk inside on the weekends, make sure to book the 10:00AM Saturday tour.

| St Louis #1 Cemetery Walking Tour |
| |
Stroll through the past and present in St. Louis Cemetery # 1,New Orleans oldest city of the dead, opened 1789 . Above ground burial and profoundly moving decay combine with awesome architectural features for an unforgetable experience. Hear the humorous, tragic and inspiring stories of legendary New Orleanians, including Homer Plessy, Etienne de Bore and of course visit the tomb of Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau. You will always see fresh flowers and /or small gifts for Marie, you could say for many she is as much in the present as the past. The x's mark the intersection of the spirit and physical worlds so she can find you and perhaps help with your request. However she did it,Marie had considerable power in a time where women and people of color usually had none.
Also included in this tour, the site and history of Storyville, and views of French Quarter courtyards.
No 1:00 PM tour on Sunday.
